[edit | edit source]- Wolfbone: How are things at Weiss?
- Player: Snowflake and My Arm are ruling the town together, and now I've built them a special fire, they can grow goutweed there.
- Wolfbone: So My Arm taught Weiss the farming knowledge of the Stronghold trolls. Now Stronghold trolls can be given firemaking knowledge from Weiss, like I promised.
- Player: Snowflake gave me a book containing all the information she could find from Odd Mushroom's notes.
- Wolfbone: Give it to Burntmeat. He can teach trolls what they want to know from it.
- If the player does not have the Weiss fire notes:
- Player: Hopefully Snowflake will give me another one.
- (End of dialogue)
- If the player has a copy of the Weiss fire notes:
- Player: Now that My Arm has taught the Weiss trolls what he knows about farming, here's a book containing what the Weiss trolls know about firemaking.
- Wolfbone: Odd Mushroom invented lots of clever stuff with Snowflake. Might be handy for Stronghold trolls.
- Burntmeat: Let Burntmeat see...
- The troll looks at the scientific notes.
- Burntmeat: Uh...
- The troll wrinkles his forehead in thought.
- Burntmeat: Yeah, lotsa learnings here. Very clever stuff. We oughta reward you.
- Select an Option
- Don't give me more burnt meat.
- Player: Don't give me more burnt meat. I've been here before, and you gave me a load of burnt meat.
- Burntmeat: Silly human pretends he don't like Burntmeat's lovely burnt meat! But okay, Burntmeat will not make any more for you. Ever.
- Player: Ever? You're never ever going to give me burnt meat again?
- Burntmeat: No more burnt meat from Burntmeat, ever. Wolfbone here has made reward for you instead.
- Wolfbone: Yes, I have learnt a lot here from my friend Burntmeat, and he has let me prepare a reward for you myself.
- As you no longer wish to receive burnt meat from Burntmeat, Wolfbone presents you with a reward instead.
- (Player receives a full inventory of burnt meat.)
- You hear a suspicious munching sound from the direction of Burntmeat.
- (End of dialogue)
- That's very kind of you.
- Player: That's very kind of you.
- Burntmeat: Burntmeat got feeling you no like Burntmeat's burnt meat. Burntmeat made some for you before, an' you not seem grateful. So Burntmeat will not make any more for you. Ever.
- Player: Ever? You're never ever going to give me burnt meat again?
- (Same as above)
After quest and after delivering fire notes

- Wolfbone: How are things at Weiss?
- Player: Snowflake and My Arm are ruling the town together, and now I've built them a special fire, they can grow goutweed there.
- Wolfbone: I plan to stay here, in the Stronghold, with my friend Burntmeat, but it good to hear of my home. Thank you.
- Burntmeat: Stronghold trolls not all that interested in firemaking, after all, but t'anks for bringing book anyway. It taste lovely.
- Player: ... you're welcome.
- (End of dialogue)
