Game client

There are several game clients, both official and unofficial, that are allowed for playing Old School RuneScape.

The official clients are:

• The Official Client, a C++ conversion of the legacy java client, originally released on the Steam gaming platform, and now also available on the Jagex Launcher.
• Old School RuneScape Mobile, the client for Android and iOS.

The officially approved third-party clients are:

• RuneLite
• HDOS

Discontinued official client:

• The Legacy Java Client, the original client written in Java which used to be embedded in browser.

Discontinued third-party client:

• OSBuddy
