Shura, one of very few sirens that can be found in-game.

Sirens are a species of aquatic beings native to the Wushanko Isles. They inhabit almost every island within the archipelago, with a population similar to that of the humans.[1]

Sirens are closely related to merfolk, and are known for their singing voices, which have various powers; Wisp claims that her song would kill the player when asked,[2] while others can use it to control the minds of others, such as humans and sea creatures. They are generally a peaceful race,[3] but certain sirens, such as Shura, are part of a warrior class.

Notably, two of the three known sirens - the Whisperer and Perseriya - were notable Zarosians, and part of the Zarosian Empire, suggesting that at least during the Second and Third Age, sirens may have been followers of Zaros.

Currently, the only known sirens are Shura, the Whisperer, and Perseriya. Of the three, only Shura and the Whisperer can be encountered in-game.
