Perfect Araxxor 2 is a grandmaster combat achievement requiring the player to perfectly kill Araxxor as well as never hitting him during his enrage phase.

Note: The failure message for Perfect Araxxor 2 will not appear if the player fails the conditions of Perfect Araxxor prior to the enrage phase. It is recommended to enable the repeat failure message for Combat Achievements in the settings interface to know if Perfect Araxxor was failed, which automatically disqualifies the player from Perfect Araxxor 2.

Strategy

This task mandates using the step-under method during Araxxor's enrage phase, which starts when his health falls below 255. It is recommended to lure him towards an area with a minimal amount of acid pools before having him enter his enrage phase to maximise the available space for the step-under method. Do not use burning claws or thralls, as the extra hits they deal after enrage will fail the task. Attacking Araxxor during enrage, even if it hits a 0, will automatically fail the task. If the player is concerned about hitting him by accident, equipping an ammo-using bow while having no ammo will prevent this from occurring, since the player would not be able to launch an attack without ammo.

It can be hard to accurately predict the orientation of the 1x3 area of Araxxor's attacks while standing under him (either north-south or east-west), so it is recommended that players simply avoid the entire 3x3 area around the target tile and continuously run to safe locations at least two tiles away for each attack.

Much like Perfect Araxxor, it is best to start with a green or white egg so the acid splatters can be better manipulated. The smaller araxytes will take a maximum hit if hit with a noxious halberd, crush or heavy ranged weapon. The player should use melee on Acidic Araxytes and ranged on ruptura or mirrorbacks. While possible to use rupturas against Araxxor, the player must be four or more tiles away from them before they explode or they will take damage, failing the task. Between the egg hatches, the player should damage Araxxor so they can start the enrage phase immediately rather than waiting later, where more tiles are likely to be covered in acid.

Aranea boots will help avoid damage from the cleave every 20 ticks (12 seconds) or any ranged attacks every 8 ticks (4.8 seconds). This can be used as a temporary failsafe in the event of one of these two attacks landing on the player post-enrage to avoid failing the task.

On the Mobile client, switching the NPC 'Attack' setting to 'Hidden' before, or right after the enrage phase begins will make it much easier to perform the step-under method.
