Morgan: Please please help us, bold adventurer!
Player: What's the problem?
Morgan: Our little village has been dreadfully ravaged by an evil vampyre! He lives in the basement of the manor to the north, we need someone to get rid of him once and for all!

- Player: Okay, I'm up for an adventure.
- Morgan: I think first you should seek help. I have a friend who is a retired vampyre hunter, his name is Dr. Harlow. He may be able to give you some tips. He can normally be found in the Blue Moon Inn in Varrock, he's a bit
- Morgan: of an old soak these days. Mention his old friend Morgan, I'm sure he wouldn't want me killed by a vampyre.
- Player: I'll look him up then.

- Player: No, vampyres are scary!
- Morgan: I don't blame you.

Talking to Morgan again

Morgan: How are you doing with the quest?
Player: I'm still working on it.
Morgan: Please hurry! Every day we live in fear that we will be the vampyre's next victim!
(End of dialogue)

Dr Harlow

Dr Harlow: Buy me a drrink pleassh...

Morgan needs your help!
- Player: Morgan needs your help!
- Dr Harlow: Morgan you shhay..?
- Player: His village is being terrorised by a vampyre! He told me to ask you about how I can stop it.
- Dr Harlow: Buy me a beer... then I'll teash you what you need to know...
- Player: But this is your friend Morgan we're talking about!
- Dr Harlow: Buy ush a drink anyway...

Talking to him again

Dr Harlow: Buy me a drrink pleassh...
If the player isn't carrying a beer:
- Player: I'll just go and buy one.
- (End of dialogue)
If the player is carrying a beer:
- Player: Here you go.
- You give a beer to Dr Harlow.
- Dr Harlow: Cheersh matey...
- Player: So tell me how to kill vampyres then.
- Dr Harlow: Yesh Yesh vampyres, I was very good at killing em once...
- Dr Harlow appears to sober up slightly.
- If the stake is in the player's inventory:
  - Dr Harlow: Don't forget to take your stake with you, otherwise he'll just regenerate. Yes, you must have a stake to finish it off... I'd give you a stake but you've got one in your inventory.
  - (Continues below)
- If the stake is in the player's bank:
  - Dr Harlow: Don't forget to take your stake with you, otherwise he'll just regenerate. Yes, you must have a stake to finish it off... I'd give you a stake but you've already got one stored somewhere.

- If the player doesn't have a stake:
  - Dr Harlow: Well, you're going to need a stake, otherwise he'll just regenerate. Yes, you must have a stake to finish it off... I just happen to have one with me.
  - Dr Harlow hands you a stake.

- Dr Harlow: You'll need a hammer as well, to drive it in properly, your everyday general store hammer will do. One last thing... It's wise to carry garlic with you, vampyres are somewhat weakened if they can smell garlic. Morgan
- Dr Harlow: always liked garlic, you should try his house. But remember, a vampyre is still a dangerous foe!
- Player: Thank you very much!

Upon killing Count Draynor

You hammer the stake into the vampyre's chest!
