Perfect Doom is a grandmaster combat achievement which requires the player to defeat the Doom of Mokhaiotl at delve levels 1 through 8 without taking damage from the boss or larvae explosions, letting any demonic larvae be absorbed, or stepping on acid blood.

Strategy

This achievement additionally requires players to meet the requirements of Grub Patrol.

Lower delve levels should not prove a problem to most players, but delves 7 and 8 require more attention in order to avoid failing the task.

Players should:

• Kill melee larvae as far away as possible if acid is surrounding Doom. The scorching bow special attack is highly recommended; it will not bind melee larvae, but the burn damage from the special attack can damage and kill it.
• Kill larvae that appear as soon as they appear outside of shield phase rather than trying to hit Doom.
• Use the Double Rockblock technique to spend more time damaging the boss and less time evading during burrow phase
• Time the spawning of the earthen shield to avoid getting hit by shockwave
