Soul Stone

The Soul Stone is a mysterious artefact that was fought over by Armadylean and Bandosian forces on the Isle of Souls during the God Wars. The stone was eventually claimed by Bandos, who evidently used it to destroy not only the Armadyleans^[1] but his own army as well.^[2] This resulted in some of those slain becoming ancient ghosts, unable to move on to the next world. The current location of the stone is unknown.

The artefact is only directly mentioned by name via a message carved into the wall^[3] of the basement of the Crumbling Tower.

According to Xamphur's research notes, the energy of the Dark Altar matches the energy found on the Isle of Souls.^[4] The implications of which are currently unknown.
