Ventriculus is an abyssal extractor found within the Scar essence mine. Various openings can be found throughout the mine, where players can deposit tainted essence chunks into them. Players can inspect the opening to have Hagus tell them how many chunks they have stored inside the Ventriculus, with the maximum being 500,000 chunks.
Tainted essence chunks can be processed in two ways; the first is to clean it via the essence orifice, converting two chunks into one noted pure essence. The second way - acquiring runic extracts from the extract orifice - requires having deposited a certain amount of coins into Hagus' coffer, depending on the type of extract they wish to acquire:
