Chet is a gardener in the Coral Nurseries found off the eastern coast of the Great Conch. Before completion of Troubled Tortugans, Chet will stop the player from using the coral patches, but afterwards he can look after both patches with suitable payment.
Chet also sells basic farming tools via the Farming Supplies shop, which can be accessed by talking to him and asking Can you sell me something?, or by the right-click Trade option.

Chet was not present in the files for the March 2025 Sailing Alpha. Instead there were two squirrels, Reggle and Gabba, with "Pay" options that seemed to be the gardeners for two coral patches.
