The Coral Nurseries is an underwater area just off the eastern coast of The Great Conch, accessible after starting Troubled Tortugans. It can be entered by climbing down the steps at the end of the dock at eastern coast of The Great Conch. To enter, either a diving apparatus and a fishbowl helmet, or a Medallion of the deep must be worn. Player will be forced to walk upon entering, and flippers have no effect.
The area contains two coral nurseries used to grow coral, which are useful potion ingredients. A nearby farmer named Chet can be paid to eliminate disease risk. Chet prevents players from using the patches until they have completed Troubled Tortugans. A tool leprechaun wearing diving equipment can also be found just north of the two coral patches. Unlike most farming patches, coral nurseries can not be treated with compost, and a spade is not required to harvest the coral.
In the western part of the nurseries, there is a coral reef which can be investigated to receive a Medallion fragment (10 tiles west of the western nursery).
