The extractor in the Elemental Workshop is connected to the extractor hat and the extractor gun. With a primed bar placed under the extractor gun, the player can operate the extractor hat, turning the primed bar into a primed mind bar. This requires at least 20 Magic points and is one of the final steps in the Elemental Workshop II quest.
