The mast can be found on two ships at Tempoross Cove. Similar to how the totem pole works, it is used to tether the player down during the colossal wave attack from Tempoross. Repairing the mast when damaged from the wave grants Construction experience equal to 4 times the player's level.

Each mast has between a 15% and 25% chance of breaking when a wave sweeps over them, scaling with the current intensity of the storm.^[1]
