The Sea of Shells is part of the Unquiet Ocean, south-west of The Great Conch. The Turtle Belt lies north, Anglerfish's Light and the island of Last Light lie to the west, and Pearl Bank lies to the east.

Two mooring points can be found here, one on the Great Conch near the town of The Summer Shore, and the other on the island of The Onyx Crest. A haddock shoal lies off the coast of the Onyx Crest as well.
