The Red Reef is an area of the Unquiet Ocean. To the north is Arrow Passage and Crash Island, to the south is Anglerfish's Light and the island of Last Light, and to the east lies The Great Conch.

Red Rock and a small unnamed island are located here, along with many rocky reefs. A giant krill shoal is located to the east, near Turtle Belt and the Great Conch.

Sea charting

Charting activates reward various amounts of Sailing experience, with significant bonus experience for completing every charting task in any given sea or ocean.

Trivia

• In the first public playtest of Sailing at RuneFest 2025, the island of Red Rock did not exist at all; this area consisted only of rocky outcroppings. The island was added in the March 2025 Sailing Alpha, but was unnamed and had no distinguishing features. Finally, in the June 2025 Sailing Beta, the name was added along with several buildings.
