The sandbag is a quest item used during Enlightened Journey as an anchor for the air balloon. It is made by using a sack on a sand pit or a bucket of sand. Players can use a bucket on the sandbag to make it into a bucket of sand.

For non-ironmen accounts, the sandbag can be obtained quite easily with the use of the Grand Exchange. A bucket of sand can be used on the sack to make the sandbag even before starting the quest. Players can also make the sandbag after quest completion, although there is no further use for this at present.
