A negative status effect is a condition that impairs the player. Contrary to buffs and with the exception of being skulled or stunned, these status effects could sap the player's health, stats or both. Below is a list of status effects.
Status effects can stack with each other; e.g a player can be diseased, envenomed and poisoned at the same time.
- Bleed
- Biting insects
- Burn
- Chilly winds in the icy areas north of Trollheim (e.g. Ice Path and God Wars Dungeon)
- Corruption
- Desert heat
- Disease
- Extreme heat of the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon floor
- Gas clouds in the Sulphur mine
- Low Life (scrapped)
- Poison
- Skull (status)
- Stun (status)
- Swamp decay
- Venom
- Warmth
