Larch logs were an item in the March 2025 Sailing Alpha. They could be used to create a larch blowpipe or 90 arrow shafts. Players could also bring larch logs to a sawmill to make larch planks.

Larch logs could be obtained from plundered salvage and from chopping larch trees.

As seen in the Construction skill menu, with 53 Construction and 59 Sailing, larch logs and balls of cotton could have been used to construct a larch mast with cotton sail. However, as players' Sailing level was limited in the alpha, this was not actually possible.
