Romily Weaklax is the pie baker on the ground floor of the Cooks' Guild. He only appears to members, and operates the Pie Shop—where you can buy a pie recipe book and most types of pies. Selling most pies to him is not recommended, as he generally pays less than market value for them.

Players can get tasks from Romily Weaklax to bake between 4 and 28 pies of a certain type—for which he will reward the player an amount of gp. The gp rewards he will give for these tasks are listed in the table below. Romily will never request a type of pie the adventurer lacks the required Cooking level to bake.

Trivia

• His examine option states he's a baker from the "North", and according to Mod Ash, he is a reference to a real-life baker from Norths Bakery who would sell pies outside Jagex's offices.
• The golem from Desert Treasure II - The Fallen Empire has Romily Weaklax as a potential search term, although the player is denied from accessing the data pertaining to him. It is currently unknown as to why this may be the case.
• His unusual name and his examine text saying he is from "the North" has resulted in many speculating that he is a Mahjarrat in disguise. His name being a search term at the golem and the courier task where he requests someone to deliver his pies to "some friends of his up north" who "got a big event coming up soon" were both added as nods to this player theory.
• Romily Weaklax has an ancestor, Durant Weaklax, who discovered the secret of preventing pies from spoiling on long journeys.
