A scruffy note is a quest item used only in Plague City. It is obtained from Bravek after the player asks how to cure a hangover, but it is difficult to read.

The note is not required to learn how to make hangover cure and can be dropped at any time. Players may make a hangover cure even before obtaining the note.

This translated version is as follows: "Get a bucket of milk. Then grind some chocolate with a pestle and mortar. Add the ground chocolate to the milk. Finally add some snape grass."
