A trapdoor can be built in the Floor space of the Throne Room in a player-owned house. It requires 74 Construction to build and gives 770 experience when built. The player must have a hammer and a saw in their inventory to build it.
When built, the trapdoor's appearance will be of the matching floor decoration to the house's style, but the floor decoration will transform in to the trapdoor once a lever is pulled.
When the lever is pulled, any players standing on the trapdoor will fall down into the oubliette below the throne room. When this happens, they hang in the air for a second and look down before falling, in the classic cartoony style. Performing most emotes will delay a player's falling through the trapdoor until the emote has ended.
