Stone chests can be found throughout the Karuulm Slayer Dungeon. There are a total of seven chests with each giving the player old notes when searched. These notes can be combined to make the Mount Karuulm diary.

When searching one of the chests without having a copy of its corresponding old notes, the message You find some notes in the crate which you take. will be displayed. If the player has a copy of the old notes already when searching the chest, the message You search the crate but find nothing of interest. will be displayed instead.
