Bounty tasks are a type of port task available at level 30 Sailing where players collect a particular sea monster's body parts. A task has the following steps:
- Visit a notice board to choose a task.
- Sail to any spot with the requested monsters.
- Kill monsters until they drop the requested number of body parts. When a body part is received, a unique jingle triggers alongside it much like getting unique drops from bosses.
- Bring the items back to port and claim-rewards from any port master.
Bounties' difficulties are based on the colour surrounding the scimitars; grey means easy and accessible, blue is slightly harder and red is for very hard or not accessible. Unlike courier tasks, which check a player's stats and requirements to see if it can be completed, bounty tasks only require a Sailing level to accept.
The player is rewarded coins equal to the amount of base Sailing experience gained from the task. Unlike cargo, which must be delivered at a specific port, bounty rewards can be claimed from any port master and players can obtain the parts from any location that has the monster. Parts obtained from monsters cannot be banked, but are storable in a ship's cargo hold.
At level 30, three port tasks of either type (courier or bounty) can be accepted at a time, with more slots becoming available at higher levels:

The level requirement to accept a Bounty task from a notice board cannot be boosted.
Tasks can be cancelled in the captain's log, at the board they were received from, or by using any port master's cancel-task option. Cancelling a partially completed bounty task does not remove your monster parts, and these can be stored if necessary to count towards your next task of the same type.
Two Bounty tasks for the same monster type can be accepted at once, provided they are for different drops. Players cannot accept two Bounty tasks for the same monster part, even from notice boards at a different port. It is possible to get both parts from one harvest.
