An ent seed is a rare item that can be obtained while chopping certain types of trees throughout Varlamore, including in Auburn Valley, the Tlati Rainforest, Aldarin, the Avium Savannah, and the Custodia Mountains. The types of trees that may yield a seed are oak, willow, maple, teak, mahogany, yew, magic, and trees planted in the Locus Oasis hardwood tree patch. Regular and dead trees do not provide ent seeds.

Ent seeds can be exchanged for a bird nest by using them on ents in Auburn Valley. Players can receive a ring nest, bird's egg nest, or clue nest (which is replaced with an empty nest and scroll box if X Marks the Spot has been completed).

Ent seeds cannot be stored in a seed box, the seed vault, or be used to bait bird houses.
