A pugel is the weapon you use on the balance beam, a form of the combat ring in player-owned houses.

It has no wield option, but when stepping on a balance beam, a second pugel will be wielded while the original remains in the player's inventory. The pugel provides no bonuses, and its attack options are the same as when the player is unarmed.

A pugel stick can be obtained by searching an extra weapons rack in a player-owned house. The pugel is a tradeable item within the POH, but disappears once a player leaves the house.
