A dark disposition is a quest reward for completing The Ascent of Arceuus.

It is used on Kharedst's memoirs to allow teleportation to Arceuus. If lost before being added to Kharedst's memoirs, a replacement can be claimed from Lord Trobin Arceuus in the upper level of the Tower of Magic.

After completing the quest A Kingdom Divided, a replacement can be claimed from Lord Trobin's son, Asteros Arceuus, on the 1^st floor^[UK]2^nd floor^[US] of Kourend Castle.

Using Kharedst's memoirs after adding this page to it on Alyssa results in unique dialogue, revealing that she is the handmaid named Alyssa in the story.
