The marked wall can be found in the Shaman Caves during the Legends' Quest. Interacting with it will give the riddle

"Place five stones of magical power - but place them wrong, and your fate will sour. First is the spirit of man or beast (Soul rune), second the place where fools tread least (Mind rune). Third is the soil where plants do grow (Earth rune) - and four and five are the rules you must know (two Law runes). Solve this riddle, and overcome your ignorance; arranged correct, it should make sense."

The solution to the riddle is SMELL, which the player must then submit by using the correct runes on the wall. After this, the player is allowed to pass through to the next room.

• The marked wall uses a photo texture of hieroglyphs, which is drawn from an inscription found on a real-life artefact.
• The riddle at some point was changed, it used to read:
  • "Place the five in order to pass or your life will dwindle until the last. All five are stones of magical power, place them wrong and your fate will sour. First is the spirit of man or beast, second is the place where thoughts are born, Third is the soil from which good things grow, Four and five are the rules all men should know. All put together make the word of basic sense. And from perspective help make maps from indifference."
