This method seems completely unavailable for usage.

Almost nobody buys/sells RAW summer pies. I tried buying 1 as a test for 10k! Nobody sold a single one.

perhaps if one cooked them and sold, but I haven't checked the profit for that.

This is definitely not a money making guide. Or at least a proper/finished one.

Just as a warning this method does NOT work. Raw wild pies sell for around 8-9k making them in some cases a loss to make, just letting others know so they don't waste mils on getting cooking up for nothing. 17:43, February 5, 2016 (UTC)

How do you guys calculate how many tuna potatos you can do in an hour, because even with a bot its impossible to make this many (2000)??? I mean lets say it takes 200 sec to do invent, or even less 120, you cant make 666 000 in an hour, you'll make about 150k...

As of June 2 2016, Raw Wild Pie sells for 4720, the ingredients together cost 5235.

Grand exchange prices are inaccurate.. raw wild pies are currently traded at 4.7k, making this a net loss.

The actively traded price of cooked anchovies is almost three times the listed price rn, making this a money losing activity. I tested this yesterday with catching and cooking the anchovies and got these results.

I fished at Draynor Bank for 30 minutes with 70 fishing:

140 Raw Anchovies

197 Raw Shrimps

14k Fishing xp/hr

40k Total Profit

I bought the plain pizzas at 717 gp each and sold the anchovy pizzas for between 1000 and 1008 gp each for a profit of about 285 gp per pizza. 21:59, March 19, 2017 (UTC)

THis is 100% wrong, check herblore skill guide. A super combat potion uses (4) super attack, strength, and defence potions, and you combine a torstol with the 3 already made potions (by itself, not in a vial of water) to make a super combat potion. Torstol potions are used to make zamorak brew, which as of 6/17/17 are 24.55gp per exp (you pay 5k and sell for 703gp, 4297gp loss for 175exp) whereas saradomin brews are 14.64gp per xp which is still very expensive, but 180exp per (best exp per potion made, besides the impractical weapon poison ++ which require spawn hopping for nightshades) 02:49, June 18, 2017 (UTC)Convalesce

How are you supposed to repeat the process if there's a buying limit for seeds? Sure, you could let them stock up, but that would me you would only get the 1700 seeds after 34 for hours (200 seeds every 4 hours). After 34 hours, you'd have to wait 34 hours again to repeat the process, just for 1700 seeds.

I don't know how to go about editing the table here, but wanted to note that grinding chocolate bars in a member's only option, not free-to-play. The pestle and mortar is a member's only item.

I may be doing the math wrong, but the smithing mithril bars at blast furnace page may be wrong. I got a profit of 938,736 gp, not the 400,000 something it shows.

Can someone remove the saplings methods, they are quite inacurate gp/hr wise, and saplings will almost never sell.

New location to kill Red Dragons[edit source]


This page needs to be updated with the new location of the Myth's Guild from Dragon Slayer 2. The basement in the guild has red dragons right under it and has the bank on the first floor (uk floor system). This increases gp per hour. The grand exchange price is wildly inaccurate. This method is a heavy loss.

crafting gold bracelets by smelting gold bars with a furnace and a bracelet mould. exact profit per hour not known, needs to be tested. over 100% of input as additional profit given, gap between gold bar and gold bracelet actually over 120 gp (70 -> 195) per item. crafting 7 needed, members only.

Master farmers[edit source]

The "Pickpocketing Master Farmers" section is wrong , I've been pickpocketing that guy for 3 days (10 hours every session) and my profit never reached more than 500k GP/h (and I got 98 thieving with ardy hard cape so 100% success rate). Money can be made by buying red topaz (cut), balls of wool, and silver bars into topaz amulet and then enchanted into burning amulets, for 1m+ an hour

If you're pickpocketing the Master Farmer in Draynor and don't have food, if you don't mind losing attack points, you can steal from the wine stall as a source of food (grapes and jugs of water, bottles of wine). If the guards are a problem, you can lure them to the Wise Old Man house and lock them there. Also, it may help to have multiple Dodgy Necklaces.SukiChii (talk) 15:21, 20 June 2019 (UTC)

Intensity[edit source]

Could there be an intensity scale(or afk-ness) on these(Between category and members) - High intensity would be things like killing certain bosses or cleaning herbs or alching- which require constant clicking and Low intensity would be things like splashing(not a money maker but an example of a low intensity activity) or fishing.Aragonitite (talk) 13:53, July 25, 2018 (UTC)

Tuna potatoes[edit source]

Regarding the tuna potato guide. It should be mention that you would most like need to make this mostly from scratch, as the items needed are barely ever sold. Tuna and corn on the high end sells 2000 a day meaning that step is pretty much void, same goes for chopped tuna, meaning the process actually becomes buy cooked tuna, bowls to start off with, potatos with butter and cooked sweetcorn. Spike in supplies costs and just generally bad results makes Brutal Greens a bad use of time.

GP/h for mining ash needs to be updated[edit source]

Merge the 15 separate "Sapling" entries, or move them to the "Recurring Methods" section?[edit source]

Saplings currently take up fifteen separate entries on this page, that's an issue in itself, but my main problem is that it's not even a viable method. For example, Magic Seeds have a buy limit of 200, yet the guide assumes you can make 1700 Magic Saplings an hour, eight and a half times the buy limit. That would take, what, 34 hours to buy one hours' worth of supplies? It's just not viable.

They're an unsightly blight on a very popular page, it would be great if they could be dealt with.

Cutting mahogany logs[edit source]

In regards to the money making method for Cutting mahogany logs it is a bit out dated. It shows that cutting the on ape atoll is the best method which is false. I don't have exact figures on how much more GP it is on fossil island, but it is better by far. You have three trees verus two on ape atoll ontop of having a bank that is just about visible from the spot your cutting at. Also the requirements are not as harsh as ape atoll. Less questing, teleporting and skills required except some kudos,an easy quest and 63 farming.

Section for ogressess[edit source]

Ever since ogressess were introduced they have been one of the best (if not the best) money making methods for f2p. It has been out for a while and there is no mention of it on the wiki other than the page for the ogressess themselves. I tried making a page for it once but I didnt know how to calculate the average profit with the probablities for each drop, so if anyone that knows how to make a page for these kinds of methods could please take the time to do so, I think many f2p would be thankful. I seriously doubt anyone is going to kill mithril dragons for any purpose but tasks and diary, if they're even part of one, especially at "80+" stats. 20 kills an hour sounds like a joke, some acc with a dragon sword and anti dragon shield kind of slow dps. This is data from a 31 dragon task I completed 20 minutes ago. I (95 melee stats 80 pray, Hasta, Ddef, BCP, Vskirt, Ferocious gloves, Fcape, Slay helm, Tort, Bring(i), Dboots) finished the task in 39 minutes. Using a bonecrusher, I got 299k in drops, without crushing estimate 375k and far less gp/hr. I did not track my xp/hr, but I'm sure one of you can do that pretty easily. My inventory consisted of an alch rune pouch, games necklace, bonecrusher(necklace), 4 prayer potions, house tab, super combat(4), extended superantifire(4), and 20 sharks. Including the 5 sharks and both prayer mix doses, I used ~1 shark per kill. Trading Dboots for Guardian and Ferocious for Bgloves, 1 shark per kill is probably going to be the trend over 100+ kc. Repot both Supercombat and Superantifire every 5 minutes (antifire expires at 5), pray piety, protect mage, and preserve. I used minimal (20%) flicking. 6 prayer pots should allow for 100% piety uptime, 2 for decent flicking. Rune pouch was of minimal use, Id suggest only using it if full tank+DHlance, and even then I doubt it'd see much use aside from mage xp and + 100 gp profit per alch drop. for runelite kill tracker

Woodcutting guild[edit source]

With the process of making planks, the article fails to take into account the existence of the sawmill in the woodcutting guild. Using this sawmill could significantly reduce travel time and overall investment costs although investment is already minimal.

Recent update changed volcanic ash[edit source]

With the new update, players receive multiple ash increased based on mining level, at 65 mining the ash received is 3.1 per harvest. Which renders as 3 nine times and on the tenth gives 4. This greatly increases the potential earning from mining ash, and, if it's turned into ultracompost increases profit further.

Tip for info not mentioned farming snapdragon[edit source]

Information about this spell should be mentioned as it's essential when farming with expensive seeds. It has been updated with farming guild etc. but not with arceuus spellbook.

Rogue Chest XP rate wrong[edit source]

Xp rate is really incorrect, gives more around 35-40k/hr. Formula looks complicated, not sure how to edit

The farming part of the moneymaking guide has some inconsistencies[edit source]

for example... it says you can plant 9 snapdragons but... It DOESNT tell you the required elite morytania diary for harmony patch, not the cost of the tele tablet

Also, it doesnt take into account: the extra yield from some patches like cammy and farm guild... also doenst take into account the anima patches effects or the farm cape's effects

green dragons moneymaking method[edit source]

hello, actually is possible to make around 750k/hr with melee 70 at green dragons in wilderness using viggora's chain and looting bag, with games necklace use teleport to corporeal beast and go to the east, the green dragons located at the south of venenatis in a single way combat area, the money made is around 1m/hr but the ether usage of the viggora's chainmace is around 250k/hr resulting on 750k/hr of profit in a safer zone

Zulrah money making page is wrong[edit source]


Zulrah money making page seems to only be including 1 loot roll per kill into the outputs whereas Zulrah gives 2 loot rolls per kill.

Looting Wyrms[edit source]

Many players that kill Wyrms leave their bones, which are currently 1k+ in value, as well as many other drops, often worth 2k+ each, on the ground. Killing Alchemical Hydra[edit source]

  • Ring pieces in output?
  • The article looks like its basing most of the $/kill, etc on 1 roll per kill. You get 2 rolls on hydra's common table per kill
  • Twisted bow kills/hr is closer to 28
  • Maybe make a note that its more efficient to bonecrusher/leave bones than to bank them

Just typing here to suggest another mahogany tree(kebos lowlands)[edit source]

Pardon me if I am mistaken but wouldn't the kebos lowland trees behind the farming guild technically be closer and require less teleports? I recently parked an alt at the kebos trees because I realized I could plank make for profit from them. Do disregard if I am mistaken

Mahogany trees new location and requirements[edit source]

Since the release of Fossil Island and Hardwood tree patches, possibly the best location to chop down mahogany trees (and teak trees) is Fossil Island farming patches. Also, there is not competition with other players in this spot.

wrong xp rates for rogues chest xp/hour/money making page[edit source]

Experience rates are very wrong and are estimaged ~125k xp/hour, rates are actually ~40k - ~45k. Terrible at redoing Calculators, any suggestions?

Thanks for pointing this out. It looks like the person who made it based the loot on the "10 hours of looting Rogue's chest", but made some mistake with adding in the coins drop. Fixed that, and it seems like the xp/h also got corrected with that!

you have your (bandos money making guide) all wrong, you only need 70+ range to wear good range gear 80+ unlocks nothing, now it might be recommended but it isnt what you need as stated.

Kills per hour (Rune Dragons)[edit source]

35 kills per hour is definitely lower than what most people are getting.

All 1 hour tests (so low sample size, but should give an idea of what is possible):

  • With 95 Att / 97 Str, Justiciar, Dragon Hunter Lance, Torture, Ferocious Gloves, Insulated Boots, Fire cape
  • Avernic Defender + Bandos Godsword Specs: 54 KPH
  • Avernic Defender: 53 KPH
  • Dragon Defender: 50 KPH
  • Dragonfire shield: 46 KPH

I suggest we change it to dragonfire shield + dragon hunter lance, with around 95 melees. This is probably around 45 KPH. Most common setup I see, and many people afk this. Yes, defenders are higher GP/hr even with the cost of super antifires, but unless you have runelite set to notify you on "your super antifire is about to expire", most people would rather just use the DFS. 35 is the lower bound of using a zamorakian hasta, and ~57 or so is the upper bound of BiS with 99 melees. sinister key money maker guide completely wrong/ out of date[edit source]

herbs are looted in note form. not only that, you can open the chest with a full inventory, allowing you to open 6 times, freeing 6 spaces to pick up the 6 noted herb types that dropped. you can do a steady rate of 400 keys/hr, up to 450 when focused. buying these keys at mid can usually land a 1m+ profit per hour.

And its not mentioned here, contrary to what ive been told many times by others: the serp does not use any scales to resist the poison. So with 75 defence (and 91 cmb to not agro the skeletons), highly recommend the free immunity the serp provides.

FYI Sinister keys offer noted herbs now, so you can run 25+ keys per trip instead of 2-3. also you dont need to drop anything. easily 1-2m+ p/hr depending on prices

Methodology for casting superglass[edit source]

Can you please explain in more detail the arraignment of this method. I was only able to finish the 600 spells in an hour and 37 minutes. I really dont believe it is possible to make 700k an hour this way. Please Help.

Profit calculators for Cleaning Grimy Dwarf Weed and Cleaning Grimy Lantadyme[edit source]

The profit is showing positive but if you compare inputs to outputs it should be negative.

Demonic Gorillas: Kills per hour[edit source]

60 Kills per hour is quite high at demonic gorillas, as it assumes around 90+ combats, use of arclight + bp, and a slayer task. This is inflating the listed gp/hr. I suggest we reduce it to about 45 KPH, which is what you could expect at around 85 combats and off-task without rigour/avernic. This should be more in line with the demographic.

My own testing, with 95 att / 98 str / 94 ranged. Using: Arclight, BP, fury, rigour, avernic, etc.

  • 4 hours testing on-task: 64.5 KPH
  • 2 hours off-task: 56 KPH
  • 2 hours off-task using Ghrazi rapier: 54 KPH

Although black demons are a long task, I feel that we should not expect players to have them as a task to kill them. 60 KPH is definitely too high for the average player to achieve, so either the recommended stats should be increased to 90+, or the KPH should be brought down. 19:24, 6 September 2019 (UTC)

Varrock Tele-Tab Rates[edit source]

Assuming maxed house with decently placed lectern, the rate of tablet creation can equal approx. 900 or more per hour rather than the 750 displayed on the page. Missing the most profitable f2p money maker[edit source]

Missing extended super antifire mmgs - 3m gp/hr[edit source]

Assuming that the herblore training page is accurate, making super anti-fire potions at 92 herblore would profit about 1m an hour and making extended super anti-fire potions at 98 herblore would profit about 3,184,000 an hour.
