Dogs can be assigned as a Slayer task from Turael, Spria and Mazchna at level 15 combat. A wide variety of dogs can be found across Gielinor. Most dogs, except those in Brimhaven Dungeon, are aggressive and they all attack with melee. Dogs have no noteworthy drops beside bones and ensouled dog heads.

Reanimated dog	N/A	35	Dark Altar	Requires ensouled dog head, 1Soul rune, 3Nature rune, and 4Body rune and level 41 Magic to cast Adept Reanimation, the spell must be cast at the Dark Altar, unless it is cast, when the ensouled head is received as a drop.
