Gem tipped bolts

Gem tipped bolts are heavy ranged ammunition used by crossbows, weapons used in ranged combat. They can be created by members through Fletching, by attaching bolt tips on bolts.

Attaching gem tips doesn't improve the stats of the bolt. Most players use the Enchant Crossbow Bolt spell on a gem tipped bolt to create an Enchanted bolt, a bolt with an additional special effect.
