Jex is a priest of Icthlarin and custodian of the Temple of the Lesser Gods in Sophanem, located in the north-eastern corner of Sophanem. He offers knowledge about the minor Menaphite gods: Apmeken, Crondis, Het and Scabaras. His personal favourite of these is Apmeken.
During Contact!, he informs the player how to access the dungeon beneath the building and in a later cutscene, is blackjacked by Osman as he enters the dungeon. After regaining consciousness, he suspects he was hit by Siamun the dyer, who never liked him.
