The stonemason is a resident of Sophanem who returns to the city after completion of Contact!.

Previously, if spoken to, the player would ask him if he could make them some granite armour or make it so it fits better. He told the player the desert heat is too much for the granite and that if he could find a way he would tell them about it. However this dialogue was removed with the release of Beneath Cursed Sands.
