• Sandicrahb says that his boat is made of the Fyburglars tree, one of which can be found on the entrance to the Brimhaven Dungeon. This is a reference to the actual material fibreglass, which is a synthetic material commonly used to make boats.
• There is a sabotaged mooring point on the south-east shore of Crabclaw Isle, whose examine text and charting description implies that it was destroyed by Sandicrahb himself.
