The cows on the west side of the guild.

The Crafting Guild is located south-west of Falador and north of Rimmington. It provides top-notch workshops for accomplished crafters. A Crafting level of 40 is required to enter the guild as well as wearing one of the following:

• A brown or golden apron
• A Crafting cape
• A Max cape or any of its variants

These items are only required to enter through the door. Once inside, they are not required at all.

The Crafting Guild was originally available only to members, but was opened to free-to-play after a few months, although the bank chest and the bank deposit box remained members-only.

Transportation

In addition to walking to the guild, players may use the following transportation methods:

• A skills necklace, crafting cape or Max cape can be used to teleport to the Crafting Guild.
• Players who have unlocked the Crafting Guild hot air balloon route after completing Enlightened Journey can take a hot air balloon to just north of the Crafting Guild for a fee of one oak log.
• Players who have their player-owned house located in Rimmington can walk a short distance north-west to the Crafting Guild. Players with a tool store 3 can pick up a brown apron on their way.

Features

Exterior

The west side of the ground floor^[UK]1^st floor^[US] borders a cow pen. Entry to the guild is not required to access it. Players can kill the cows and bring the cow hides to the tanner on the 1^st floor^[UK]2^nd floor^[US] of the guild to have them tanned. Since this is the closest tanner to any cows in the game, this is an ideal location to craft leather goods.

Ground floor

When a player enters the guild, they are greeted by one of the three Master Crafters walking around, who will tell players about the guild. One of the Master Crafters sells the Crafting Cape of Accomplishment.

The ground floor^[UK]1^st floor^[US] contains 4 potter's wheels for making unfired clay items, a pottery oven to harden the unfired clay items, a sink, a spiral staircase leading to the 1^st floor^[UK]2^nd floor^[US], and various items that respawn on desks and tables, including a jug, a chisel, a hammer, and amulet and bracelet moulds.

East of the ground floor is an exit leading to the guild's own outdoor mine which contains 7 gold rocks, 6 silver rocks, and 6 clay rocks, the highest concentration available to free players.

Bank chest

The east side of the ground floor^[UK]1^st floor^[US] has a members-only bank chest and deposit box. Only players who have completed the hard Falador Diary or have level 99 Crafting will be able to use either. This is considered to be the fastest way to access a bank for players with the Crafting cape.

Upper floor

The 1^st floor^[UK]2^nd floor^[US] contains a tanner who can tan cow hides and dragonhide into leather and dragon leather. On this floor there are also two spinning wheels to spin wool.

There are several items that respawn on tables, including a ring mould, a tiara mould, a necklace mould, and a holy mould, and a pair of shears which respawns on a barrel.
