Baboons are a monster summoned by Ba-Ba in the Tombs of Amascut. They attack the sarcophagi in the area; if left unchecked, the open sarcophagi will discharge energy blasts that crash down into the fight area.

If the "Jungle Japes" invocation is also enabled, the baboons will drop two banana peels on the floor upon death. If a peel is stepped or run over, the player takes small amounts of damage and is left stunned for 3 seconds.

Changes

Date	Changes
25 June 2025 (Update)	Ba-Ba will summon 1-4 baboons when prompted, rather than 1-8. Players are guaranteed to land a max hit on Ba-Ba's baboons. Baboon Hitpoints have been reduced from 35 to 10. Baboons now drop two banana peels if Jungle Japes is enabled.
1 September 2022 (Update)	Bananas peels now spawn upon a baboon's death rather than randomly, and deal significantly reduced damage.
