The catspeak amulet is a special amulet that allows the wearer to speak with cats. It is received after the completion of Icthlarin's Little Helper, and is used in several subsequent quests. If players lose the amulet, the Sphinx will give them a replacement amulet, but only if they have a cat following them. During Dragon Slayer II, players gain the ability to speak to cats without needing the amulet.

Trivia

• Despite the amulet's ability to understand what cats are saying, the Black Cat cannot be understood, even if wearing the amulet.
• While you can use the drop trick to stack multiple amulets on the ground, you will not be allowed to pick up more than one. It is, however, possible to use the Telekinetic Grab spell to acquire additional amulets.
