Strawberry plants are a Farming plant grown at level 31 Farming. Strawberries are grown by planting 3 strawberry seeds in an allotment patch using a seed dibber. Once planted, the nearby farmer may be paid to watch over the allotment. Payment is 1 basket of apples.

Planting the strawberry seeds gives 17 farming experience. If the farmer does not watch the allotment, then disease in the allotment may be removed using plant cure, or using the Cure plant spell in the Lunar spellbook with level 66 Magic and completion of Lunar Diplomacy. If left alone, the diseased allotment will die. Each berry harvested gives 29 experience.

Strawberries may be eaten, healing 1-6 hitpoints (1 + 6% of the player's maximum hitpoints). Up to 5 strawberries may be put in a fruit basket, which when full has the ability to hold 30 hitpoints of food, making it fourth to Purple sweets, Saradomin brews, and the Reward token (Gnome Restaurant) when it comes to the amount of hitpoints of food that can be held in one inventory slot.
