Gelin is a retired insurance broker located at the Lumbridge graveyard next to her Insurance stall. She used to sell hitpoints insurance, which would guarantee that a player's Hitpoints level will not fall below a certain level when a player dies in Deadman Mode. These were one-time payments, so once a player's Hitpoints level is insured, it will never fall below it when they die.

• Level 75 - 1,000,000 coins

She used to work as an assassin in Al Kharid, meeting many strong fighters. She was inspired to open an insurance stall because she saw that people feared the diminishment that came with their defeat, and not the pain that came from death.

As of 4 October 2023, players no longer lose experience after dying in Deadman Mode, rendering Gelin's service useless. Players who purchased hitpoints insurance may talk to her for a refund.
