Mam

Mam is the son of Dad the troll, mentioned in the 27th Postbag from the Hedge.^[1] According to Dad, the family's fathers were all named "Dad", who were famous for "toothy troll babies". However, he chose to name his son "Mam" after his defeat at the player's hands caused him to reflect on the "toxic masculinity" present in troll culture that encourages fights.

Trivia

As trolls are named after the first thing they try to eat, Dad naming his son Mam means that he allowed him to first bite his mother, rather than himself.
