The Kq head is a rare drop from the Kalphite Queen. It can be stuffed at the Taxidermist in Canifis by using the item on her and paying 50,000 coins, returning a stuffed kq head. When players take it to her, she will tell players "That must be the biggest kalphite I've ever seen! Preserving insects is always tricky. I'll have to be careful..."

Once stuffed, it can be mounted at a gilded display within the skill hall in a player-owned house, granting 223 Construction alongside 200 Attack, Strength, Defence, Magic, and Ranged experience, with players being given the option to decline the combat experience before mounting the heads. Talking to a mounted kalphite queen head in your POH is a task in the Elite Desert Diary. Alternatively, the head can be sacrificed to the Dark Altar north of Arceuus, granting 2,500 Prayer experience.

Lastly, the head can be combined with a slayer helmet or slayer helmet (i) to create a green slayer helmet or green slayer helmet (i), respectively. Doing so requires purchasing the ability Kalphite Khat for 1,000 Slayer reward points.
