Murphy is a sailor who is located at Port Khazard. To reach him quickly, use the Minigame teleport to Fishing Trawler. Players must speak to him during the Freeing Pirate Pete subquest of Recipe for Disaster, in order to obtain a diving apparatus to go diving. He runs the Fishing Trawler minigame and also gives players a sextant which is 1 of 3 items that the observatory professor tells you is needed to solve a coordinate in a Treasure Trail.

In order to go diving to the Mogre Camp, the player must weigh less than 28 kg. This is required for an elite clue step.

Trivia

• If spoken to in Port Khazard while a Fishing Trawler game is in progress, he will break the fourth wall by citing "Game Magic" as his reason for being in two places at once, similar to the Blue Moon Inn bartender being aware that Old School RuneScape is a computer game.
