The Al Kharid bank is a bank in western Al Kharid, immediately west of the Al Kharid Palace. The bank is frequently used by free-to-play players while tanning hides or trading. It was added to RuneScape alongside the Catherby bank.

While the bank has no upper level, the roof of the bank is part of the Al Kharid rooftop Agility course.

Transportation

The bank is located on the east side of the River Lum. Players can use the ring of dueling to teleport to the nearby PvP Arena and run south-west, as well as using the amulet of glory to teleport to the palace next to the bank. Alternatively, players can use the gnome glider "Kar-Hewo" option to arrive a short run north of the bank, or teleport to Lumbridge and use the Broken Raft to cross the river and come out immediately behind the bank.

Players in Zanaris can use the ring at the northernmost part of the marketplace, east of the jewellery stall, to be teleported to the bank directly.

Historical timeline

• In January of 2001, Al Kharid was created alongside Draynor Village. At the time, however, neither of them had banks.
• On February 27, 2002, members was released. Alongside creating new locations with banks such as the town of Catherby, many cities were updated to include new facilities. Included in this expansion was a bank for Al Kharid.
