A ring is a piece of jewellery worn in the ring slot of the Worn Equipment tab.

Crafting rings

If the player has the requisite Crafting skill level, these rings can be created by using a ring mould, either a gold bar or a silver bar, and a gem (when applicable) on a furnace.

Most rings can be enchanted using Magic, adding teleportation or other unique effects. Enchanted rings are only available for members, except the ring of forging, which can be obtained in free-to-play by paying 250 coins to Murky Matt in the south-east quadrant of the Grand Exchange.

Quest rings

The ring of Charos is used to persuade certain NPCs, allowing discounts. The ring of visibility is used to see things normally invisible, such as ghosts and denizens of the Shadow Realm.

Other rings

The Hallowed ring negates all direct damage within the Hallowed Sepulchre. The Elven signet provides a 10% chance to not use charges of crystal equipment. The Explorer's ring can be used to teleport to the cabbage patch south of Falador. The Ring of endurance extends the effects of stamina potions and passively reduces run energy drain by 15% when charged with 500 or more doses of stamina potion. The Celestial ring gives an invisible +4 boost to Mining and also gives a chance of obtaining an extra ore up to adamantite. The Lightbearer regenerates the player's special attack energy twice as fast as normal.

Imbued rings

Some rings may be imbued with an enchantment as a reward from one of several combat minigames, doubling their combat bonuses. Options to imbue the rings include Nightmare Zone points from the Nightmare Zone, Zeal Tokens from Soul Wars, or scrolls of imbuing from the Emir's Arena. A holy wrench is also required to upgrade the ring of the gods. The rings that may be imbued are:

Other rings

The imbued ring of wealth offers double the chance of clue scroll drops in the Wilderness and is imbued with a ring of wealth scroll instead of points.
