Blood Rush requires a Magic level of 56 to cast and is capable of hitting up to 15 damage (without any magic damage boosts) per cast. It is also the weakest of all blood spells, along with all other rush spells.

Blood Rush has a life leech effect that will heal the caster's Hitpoints by 25% of the damage dealt. This can be increased by wearing bloodbark armour, where each piece increases the amount healed by 2%, up to a maximum of 35%. When worn alongside the ancient sceptre, this increases to 38.5% of the amount of damage inflicted. Even if a target has very little remaining health or is otherwise immune to damage from the spell, it will still heal for the amount of damage it would have done.

As with all Ancient Magicks spells, the quest Desert Treasure I must be completed to cast this spell.
