The fire pit is a building spot in the Museum Camp on Fossil Island, where the player can build a cooking pot. Building it requires level 24 Construction, 3 soft clay, 1 iron bar, and 2 logs and gives 800 experience, and once it is built it functions like a normal range. John and David can be seen sitting around the fire, the latter of which requests the player to build a stove, despite only being able to build a cooking pot here.
