The Stranglewood mine is a Mining area located in The Stranglewood.

The mine notably contains a runite rock and three iron rocks in a triangle formation, but the remoteness of the area and threat of the Strangled makes this mine inefficient for training. Players mining here should note that while the mine is mostly safe from wandering Strangled, they can still run into the mine area if they're following someone who has caught their attention, and will remain there until lured away or killed.

On the west side of the mine is a stone chest which can be picklocked, which will trigger a trap that teleports players to a random area in Zeah. The locations players are teleported to cannot be escaped from without the use of teleportation. As a result, the chest can only be opened once, as the player will refuse to open it again after triggering the trap.

This mine is one of many where three iron rocks can be mined without moving, thus ideal for power-mining.

The Stranglewood mine counts as part of Varlamore for the purposes of obtaining moon key halves from mining rocks.
