Overview

Main article: Farming training

Training Farming will be very similar to the main game with constraints based on available farming patches and access to seeds.

Farming is modified by the following relics:

Farmer's Fortune causes crops to grow instantaneously and increases yield from harvests, thus significantly speeding up Farming experience rates and resource gathering.

Restrictions

No herb patches are available in the starting area. The maximum number of herb patches available to a player is 6, by unlocking the Asgarnia, Kandarin, and Morytania regions. The minimum number of herb patches available to a player is 0, by unlocking the Desert, Tirannwn and Wilderness regions.

No flower patches are available in the starting area. The minimum number of flower patches available to a player is 0, by unlocking the Desert, Fremennik, and Wilderness regions.

The cactus patch is available in the Desert and Kourend regions.

The crystal tree patch is only available in the Tirannwn region.

Obtaining seeds

Main article: Seeds § Acquiring seeds

• Bird house runs can be started on Fossil Island, providing a source of seeds, bird nests, and Hunter experience.
• Low level seeds can be bought from Olivia at the Draynor Seed Market and players can steal from the stalls at level 27 Thieving. Olivia won't sell seeds to you if you have stolen from the stand or nearby master farmers in the last 30 minutes.
• A variety of seeds can be pickpocketed from master farmers starting at level 38 Thieving. They can be found in Draynor Village, Ardougne, and Varrock.
• Temple trekking in Morytania✓ can provide a large supply of watermelon seeds for experience and making supercompost.
• Farming contracts in the Farming Guild Kourend✓ can provide a large number of all seed types.
