Queen Rashiliyia, wife of King Danthalas, mother of Bervirius, is the ghost who sent the undead ones to Shilo Village. Rashiliyia was a powerful sorceress and queen of an unknown kingdom on Karamja during the Third Age. Rashiliyia was in love with Zadimus, a high priest of Zamorak, who resided in the magnificent temple of Ah Za Rhoon. When Zadimus rejected her, she tortured and hanged him before collapsing the entire temple.

After her son Bervirius was killed in battle, she swore fealty to Zamorak, the god of chaos, if he would return her son to her. Zamorak returned her son as an undead, who terrorised her and her husband and apparently went on a rampage, killing several guards, before being killed by fire.

Rashiliyia was once more struck with grief after having to bury her son a second time, he was buried in a tomb on Cairn Isle. Afterwards her grief turned into bitterness and hatred and she started personally killing a large number of people without mercy.

When Rashiliyia died, she was buried in a hidden tomb in the Karamjan jungle.

The stories about the infamous Queen Rashiliyia were passed on in legends, and she became a feared figure across Karamja.

In the late Fifth Age, the ghost of Rashiliyia returned and sent a horde of undead ones to Shilo Village to destroy the city and kill all its inhabitants. A brave adventurer managed to uncover the mysteries of the enigmatic queen and by putting her remains within her son's tomb, she was laid to proper rest, feeling relief and remorse, thus ending the threat of the Zombie Queen.
