The Runestone Basalt ARG was a clue-seeker event released alongside the launch of the Shattered Relics League on 19 January 2022, featuring segments of an alternate reality game (ARG) at various steps. While no formal announcement was made, the clue hunt kicked off when mysterious pillars of runestone basalt were found at three locations on the Shattered Relics League worlds, which could be searched to reveal tarot cards inscribed with clues laying on top. These cards would promptly vanish upon inspection, while opening a link in the player's internet browser to images containing the first set of clues.

The ARG was concluded a little over a year after its inception, when players solved the final performance on 22 January 2023. They were rewarded with a set of mystic cards that could be claimed from Diango the following day, which will stay in-game indefinitely.
