The Colossal Wyrm Remains are the remains of a large wyrm that once inhabited the Avium Savannah. The wyrm was believed to have come from deep within the Hailstorm Mountains before settling in the Avium Savannah for unknown reasons around 200 years ago. Terrorising the savannah, warriors from across the kingdom banded together to defeat it, with the help of an adventurer from Hosidius during the War of the Five Houses. It remains today as a famous landmark in Varlamore, found at the southern end of the savannah; one of its fangs is also on display on the top floor of the Grand Museum.

In recent years, the remains have fell victim to a termite infestation that is threatening the structure's integrity; thus, the museum has sent Worm Tongue and Construction Workers to lead the preservation effort. The scaffolding around the remains serve as an agility course in which players help Worm Tongue scoop up termites around the course for him to eat in exchange for rewards.

Trivia

• The remains were originally slated to be accompanied by the agility course upon the release of Varlamore on 20 March 2024, but was delayed to be released alongside the second part on 25 September due to time constraints.
• The corpse of the Colossal Wyrm was originally inspired by player Spineweilder and their winning submission to the Song of the Elves lore writing competition, hosted by Mod Wolf. The story, now found in the Bloody diary, is written by an adventurer who helped slay the creature.
• Long, thin shapes can be seen outlined in the Wyrm's Waters off the nearby coast. Given the area's name and its close proximity to the Colossal Wyrm Remains, these outlines may be the submerged remains of other colossal wyrms.
