The Western banner 2 is a reward from completing the medium Western Provinces diary. It is received from the Elder gnome child in the Gnome Stronghold, and can be retrieved from him for free if lost. Its stats in combat are identical to a black spear, other than having a slower attack speed and being a one-handed weapon.

The banner depicts King Awowogei's face.

Despite the banner having a "Teleport" option, the ability to teleport using the banner is not available until the completion of the hard Western Provinces Diary, at which point the player will have the western banner 3.
